Enea Bastianini was the big winner of the Moto2 race in Brno, he who thus repeated the victory he had won in Jerez in the previous round. Sam Lowes returned to the podium for the first time since 2016

In a few laps Bastianini was already one second ahead of the second. Five laps completed and two groups start to form behind the leader. One with Lowes and Roberts and the other with fourth, Jorge Martín, leading the pack, a second and a half behind Roberts.
The VR46 Racing Team duo, Luca Marini and Marco Bezzecchi, were fighting for the top four with Jorge Martín, in the top three pursuing group.
Hector Garzo suffered a crash and was out of the race:

With ten laps to go, the scenario remained: Bastianini in front, followed by Lowes and Roberts, with the fight for ntop four to be made between the men of Rossi and Martín’s team. So was the top ten at that stage:

Sam Lowes was second, well positioned to return to the podium four years after winning in Aragon.
