Topical CBD is arguably the best place for beginner CBD consumers to start because it doesn’t involve ingesting CBD oil or swallowing a pill. For those who may be a bit nervous about trying CBD for the first time, a CBD topical is just for you! For anyone experiencing skin problems, you should expect to begin to see results within one to two weeks of daily application. Test results with different levels of daily application and potency to ensure your CBD routine is successful.
You can’t hurt yourself with CBD topicals (unless you ingest them, which would not be smart). We recommend to apply just enough to absorb into the skin surrounding the area in question, and to reapply throughout the day as needed. As long as you don’t have gobs of CBD cream all over your hands, you didn’t apply too much!

Great question. Our CBD lotion is made with full spectrum hemp oil distillate that is 75% pure but still contains a full spectrum of phytocannabinoids. CBD salves and balms on the other hand are made with CBD crude oil that contains only 50% phytocannabinoids because the extract has not been further refined at this stage. Because of this, the extract is too oily to mix with a water based lotion and must be mixed with beeswax or another oil base instead. Our CBD topicals are top-shelf because they are full spectrum and fast absorbing, yet don’t leave any oily residue behind like a CBD salve or CBD balm would.
Cornbread Hemp products are sourced exclusively from non-gmo organic farmers in the state of Kentucky. Every single cannabis plant that we use to formulate our pharmacist approved CBD products has been supervised for quality control best practices through the Kentucky Department of Agriculture’s hemp program. Select Cornbread Hemp products have been certified organic by the National Organic Program of the United States Department of Agriculture, but those products do not include our CBD topicals at this time. That will change very soon!
Full spectrum CBD topicals are hemp infused lotions or creams that contain trace amounts of THC from the hemp plant. These products are legal because they contain less than 0.3% THC, which was the limit set by the Farm Bill of 2018. All Cornbread Hemp products are full spectrum to ensure you receive the most potent and beneficial hemp CBD extract.
Apply at least once daily for a consistent period of time (at least 2-4 weeks). Reapply when you feel necessary, or when problems or pain symptoms return. You can’t hurt yourself by applying too much CBD cream, but you can potentially bring comfort to areas needing pain relief or relaxation.
Studies show that THC is an essential element to the most powerful entourage effect in our endocannabinoid systems. For this reason, we use only the highest quality full spectrum hemp extract from Kentucky-grown hemp, never broad spectrum or CBD isolate.
The question “how long does CBD last” is going to be different for every person depending on what they are using the full spectrum cream to treat. Someone with chronic pain may need to apply more than someone who has mild symptoms.* For best results, use daily for at least 2-4 weeks. Remember that CBD takes time to begin working. Be patient as you begin your daily routine and the health benefits will begin to reveal themselves over time.
Cornbread Hemp uses organic coconut oil in the manufacturing and blending process of our CBD creams and CBD lotions. If you are allergic to coconut oil, please refrain from using any of our products. We will be releasing a CBD oil with an olive oil carrier oil in the near future for those allergic to coconut oil!
Customer service is our highest priority at Cornbread Hemp. We never let a customer go unsatisfied, and that’s why we stick to our 30-day guarantee on all orders, even our topical CBD products. If you don’t like your CBD cream for any reason, visit our returns policy page to begin the process.
Every single product we produce is third party lab tested at Kaycha Labs for pesticides, heavy metals, microbials, mycotoxins, residual solvents, and more. We make our lab testing results available on our certficiate of analysis library, which can be viewed at any time on our website.

There are currently no reported cases of individuals failing drug tests after using full spectrum CBD topicals. With that being said, anyone using full spectrum CBD creams should be aware that they could possibly fail a drug test because this product does contain no more than 0.3% THC. If you’re concerned that you may be drug tested at work while taking CBD, talk to your HR department first. Many employers only test for THC rather than cannabinoid content in general, so you may find that you’re able to use CBD oils or a CBD cream, depending on the policy of your specific employer.
